Jose Mourinho has praised his Tottenham Hotspur side's resilience after the Premier League side fended off Stoke's second half fightback to reach the Carabao Cup semi finals.
The north London side entered Wednesday night's tie at the Bet365 stadium following a nightmare week in which losses to Leicester and Liverpool and a draw with Crystal Palace saw them drop off in the title race.
However, Spurs responded well in tough conditions, with goals from Gareth Bale, Ben Davies and Harry Kane booking Mourinho side's place in the final four of the competition.
