Michy Batshuayi featured for the Belgian national side yesterday as they stormed to a 3-1 victory over World Cup quarter-finalists Russia in a qualifying match for Euro 2020.
Playing the full 90 minutes for the Red Devils, the Palace forward was unfortunate not to score when he saw an effort cleared off the line and later struck the left post shortly before full-time, however he earned a consolidatory award as he assisted teammate Eden Hazard to his second and his country's third of the night.
On the bench last night was Christian Benteke, who featured as part of the Belgium squad for the first time since June 2018.
