Roy Hodgson reflected on Crystal Palace's 2-0 home win against Burnley last Saturday, praising the ever-present Palace faithful and remarking that he was pleased with the result.
The match was Palace's first home win of the season, and Hodgson emphasised how pleasing it was to see his side pick up three points in front of a packed Selhurst Park crowd.
"The three points pleased me most," he said, "because I’ve been pleased with so many of our performances after games. Sometimes we’ve been praising players about their performance but not been able to get the satisfaction of having taken points from the game.
