Harry Kane has insisted that Tottenham's defensive tactics are not orders from Jose Mourinho but the players trying to protect points.
Spurs have been pegged back three times recently, going 1-0 up against bottom-half sides Crystal Palace, Wolves and Fulham only to draw 1-1 in all three.
Those six points would see Mourinho's side top of the Premier League, and the side has been criticised for their perceived negative setup in 'parking the bus'.
However Spurs eased past Sheffield United 3-1 on Sunday afternoon, and hotshot striker Kane denied the defensive mentality comes from the Portuguese.
