Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Gareth Bale missed Tottenham's match with Crystal Palace on Sunday due to the 'flu' but confirms the illness is not coronavirus.

The Welsh winger was left out of Spurs' matchday squad for the trip to Selhurst Park due to illness though the 31-year-old tested for the virus and the result came back negative.

Mourinho claimed that Bale is not feeling well at all and was not in a condition to be risked for Sunday's match.
