Newcastle hope Kieran Trippier will return for the final three matches of the season to aid their European push, and that will be good news for England ahead of Euro 2024.
Mail Sport understands the 33-year-old — sidelined for two months with a calf injury - is currently in Dubai, where he is working with a physio and fitness coach.
Trippier was injured during the 3-0 win over Wolves on March 2 and was expected to play after the international break later that month. However, he suffered a setback and his return date was put back to the game at Crystal Palace last week.
