Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has praised the signings made by the Eagles this summer, admitting that he hopes they have found value in an inflated transfer market.
Alan Pardew has brought in three players to improve his squad, goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, defender James Tomkins and winger Andros Townsend.
All three signings fix a problem position in the Palace squad, and arrived for what could be considered budget fees in this transfer window.
