The former coach of England defender Marc Guehi has spoken of his "immense pride" as he prepares to line up for England in the Euro 2024 final.
Steve Owen first spotted Guehi playing when he was five and took him to Cray Wanderers in Kent, before the defender later went on to Chelsea.
The former Gravesend schoolboy has played in all but one of England's games at the Euros, and Mr Owen believes he has made the most of the experience the tournament has given him.
He said: "Marc has really laid down a marker with his performances in this tournament and has shown maturity beyond his years.
