Marc Guehi has revealed his family were not in attendance to watch him make his England debut.
Guehi, along with Crystal Palace team mate Tyrick Mitchell and Southampton's Kyle Walker-Peters, made his first England appearance in the 2-1 friendly win over Switzerland.
But the 21-year-old has revealed his family did not go to Wembley as 'they get a bit nervous' despite being 'tempted'.
Speaking to BBC, he said: 'Sometimes they get a bit nervous so prefer to watch at home.
'They definitely were tempted, but I know they are watching from afar and supporting me, and I always feel their love in my heart.
