Doncaster Rovers right back Jamie Sterry was spotted playing with a huge lump on his head against Crystal Palace in an FA Cup game on Monday.
The former Newcastle player appeared in the first minutes of the clash at the Eco-Power Stadium but was only taken off in the 80th minute.
The League Two side lost to Premier League club Palace in the fourth round of the FA Cup in a 0-2 game with goals from Daniel Munoz and Justin Devenny.
However, leaving the pitch in the late stages of the match, the 29-year-old player could be seen with a golf ball-sized lump on his head.
