David Moyes determined to keep hold of wantaway full-back Jeremy Ngakia as West Ham prepare to hold fresh talks with 19-year-old ahead of his contract expiry on June 30 in bid to convince him to stay

West Ham will hold further talks with Jeremy Ngakia this week but fear he will still refuse to sign a new contract.

The 19-year-old has refused a month's extension to his contract and can leave the club on June 30 with Watford and Bundesliga side Schalke understood to be among those interested in signing him.

Ngakia figured in the final 30 minute segment of Saturday's friendly against Crystal Palace and scored in the 2-1 win.

He is highly regarded by manager David Moyes who remains intent on using the young full-back in the last two games for which he is eligible against Wolves and Tottenham.
