Scott Dann played for the first time in a year under the lights of Selhurst Park today in Crystal Palace's 1-0 victory over Grimsby Town, and his side kept a clean sheet as they pressed the League Two side high from the backline.
Dann looked back on the game, which he played the entirety of, something that will come as a pleasing sign for the 31-year-old captain.
He said, "It was really tough. Credit to Grimsby, especially after going a man down in the first minute. They played really well and dug in. Fortunately for us, we managed to get that important goal just before the end of the game which we probably feel we deserved, we had a lot of shots but they made it hard for us to break them down.
