Premier League footballer Pape Souare was airlifted to hospital following a horrific road crash.
The Crystal Palace defender was involved in the crash on the M4 near Heathrow Airport, west London yesterday.
Photos from the scene show a Mercedes G63, understood to belong to Souare, mangled on the motorway's central reservation.
Souare is said to have been flown to hospital, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
