Roy Hodgson fears that government restrictions on over 70s around coronavirus could hamper his ability to take charge of Crystal Palace for the rest of the season.
Following the postponement of all fixtures back in March, Premier League clubs are hoping for a mid-June restart with matches to be played behind closed doors.
Yet Hodgson has reportedly told friends that he does not believe he will be allowed to guide his team from the touchline or even take training sessions, according to The Sun.
Should the Premier League still be given the go-ahead to resume it is expected the government will still keep lockdown measures in place on those over 70s.
