Crystal Palace have been dealt an early season blow after new striker Loic Remy was ruled out for up to two months.
The French striker injured his thigh during a recent training session for Palace and will be out of action until November.
Palace swooped for the striker during the summer transfer window after parent club Chelsea made it clear they were prepared to let him leave on loan.
Remy joined Alan Pardew's side for a fee of £3million, with the option to make the loan deal permanent at the end of the current campaign.
