Crystal Palace have sealed a £9million deal for FC Midtjylland striker Alexander Sorloth in the nick of time on transfer deadline day in what was a frantic 24 hours at Selhurst Park.
The 22-year-old arrives to sharpen up Roy Hodgson's options in attack and with a growing reputation in Scandinavian football.
He has clocked up 15 goals and provided nine assists in 26 games for the Danish side this season and has been handed the No 9 shirt in south London to suggest he will take a key slot in the Palace squad.
Speaking of his last-minute move, Sorloth told Palace TV: 'It's a big club with ambition, a good club who takes good care of its players.
