Pardew was sacked by Palace in December with the club sitting 17th in the Premier League table at the time and having taken just 26 points from 36 matches in 2016.

The Eagles have continued to struggle since Allardyce's appointment, winning just two of their nine games under the ex-England boss, and currently sit in the relegation zone.

But, following Saturday's victory over Middlesbrough, Ledley insists a change was the right thing for the club and is confident they can secure survival.
