Nuno Espirito Santo is reportedly on the verge of being appointed as the new manager of Crystal Palace, three weeks after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Palace have conducted a thorough search for the successor to Roy Hodgson, with the veteran manager bidding farewell to his boyhood club at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
The Eagles have held talks with Frank Lampard over the vacancy, while also considering the likes of Sean Dyche, Steve Cooper and Valerien Ismael for the post.
But according to The Telegraph, Nuno is Palace's preferred target and the club and Portuguese, 47, are in advanced talks over an agreement, while an announcement could be made later this week.
