Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is under no illusions that last Saturday’s 3-0 home win over Southampton means that he is no longer under pressure.
Pardew's Palace broke their run of six successive defeats by beating the Saints, and club chairman Steve Parish said this week that the manager's job is ‘totally safe.’
But Pardew said: ‘Look, it’s not absolutely safe. We are not delivering the points that we need to deliver and that’s what I need to address, and then hopefully my job will become a bit more secure.
'You’ve always got to understand that pressure will kick back in quite quickly if we lose another three games on the trot.
