boss Sam Allardyce expects to be without influential midfielder Yohan Cabaye for Monday's crunch Premier League clash with Arsenal.
The France international picked up a calf injury in Palace's 3-1 defeat to Southampton on Wednesday and will not recover in time for the visit of the Gunners to Selhurst Park.
Last night's defeat ended a run of four straight Premier League wins, which had given the Eagles a realistic possibility of avoiding relegation.
However, to Allardyce's disappointment, Palace will have to make do without their star playmaker against Arsenal as they continue their fight to avoid the drop.
