Crystal Palace have been dealt a major blow with Michael Olise suffering a serious hamstring injury while on international duty.
In a big setback for Palace ahead of the forthcoming campaign, tests have revealed winger Olise suffered a grade three tear – the most severe – sparking fears he will be sidelined for a number of months, a layoff which would rule him out for the start of the new season.
Olise was hurt while playing for France in the under-21 Euros, sustaining the injury in his left leg following a collision with Norway goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson and not long after scoring what proved to be the game’s winning goal.
