Crystal Palace caretaker manager Keith Millen said Sam Allardyce is an 'experienced Premier League manager' who has 'been there and done it' - but stopped short of confirming he will replace Alan Pardew at Selhurst Park.
Former England manager Sam Allardyce is the favourite to replace Pardew, who was sacked on Thursday after paying the price for a torrid 2016 in which the Eagles have won just six Premier League matches.
Millen, who is set to take charge of the team for their Boxing Day fixture at Watford, said he didn't know for certain who Pardew's successor would be.
