Sam Allardyce is interested in signing Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe.
Defoe can leave the North East club on a free transfer due to a relegation clause in his contract.
Bournemouth and West Ham are among those in the mix but Allardyce, who managed him at the Stadium of Light, now wants him at Crystal Palace.
'If we are safe in the Premier League and Jermain Defoe is available, and he wants to come to Crystal Palace, I would be interested,' Allardyce said.
