Crystal Palace 'are considering a move for Patrick Vieira as their next manager with Roy Hodgson out of contract at the end of the season, with Frank Lampard, Sean Dyche and Eddie Howe also on the shortlist'

Patrick Vieira is among the candidates that Crystal Palace are considering appointing as their new manager if Roy Hodgson departs.

Hodgson, 73, is out of contract at the end of this season along with a host of Palace players.

As reported by The Athletic, Vieira, who was sacked by Nice last December, is on Palace's shortlist.

Vieira was in charge of Nice for 89 games, winning 35, drawing 22 and losing 32.
