Patrick Vieira is among the candidates that Crystal Palace are considering appointing as their new manager if Roy Hodgson departs.
Hodgson, 73, is out of contract at the end of this season along with a host of Palace players.
As reported by The Athletic, Vieira, who was sacked by Nice last December, is on Palace's shortlist.
Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is also in contention along with Burnley boss Sean Dyche and ex-Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe.
Vieira was in charge of Nice for 89 games, winning 35, drawing 22 and losing 32.
