Chelsea held off a tenacious Crystal Palace effort to claim a thrilling 3-2 win at Selhurst Park and continue their charge for the Champions League.
Gary Cahill pulled up with a hamstring injury and Willian took fully advantage when setting up Olivier Giroud for the opener. Christian Pulisic doubled the advantage with a powerful shot before Wilfried Zaha cut the deficit with a thunderbolt from range.
Tammy Abraham restored the deficit after coming off the bench but Christian Benteke netted a minute later to set up a dramatic finale. Palace hit the post in injury time but Chelsea held on to claim the three points by the skin of their teeth.
