Crystal Palace 1-0 Burnley: Bakary Sako scores only goal of game as Roy Hodgson's men impressively continue resurgence in Premier League

Crystal Palace's resurgence continues after overcoming Burnley 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League at Selhurst Park.

Palace took the lead in the 21st minute through Bakary Sako, with the 29-year-old beating Phil Bardsley down the left before drilling a shot past Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope.

Roy Hodgson's side managed to hold on for all three points, ensuring they have now moved up to 12th in the Premier League following a disastrous start to the campaign.
