Burnley heaped yet more pressure on Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer as Chris Wood's strike condemned the embattled Dutchman to another defeat.
Palace got off to the worst possible start as Lee Chung-yong inexplicably turned and played the ball straight into the path of Chris Wood, with the New Zealander doing the rest as he slotted past Wayne Hennessey for what proved to be the only goal of the game.
The result leaves Palace without a point or a goal from their opening four Premier League games and De Boer clinging to his job after a nightmare start.
