Brentford are looking at a £4million move for Swansea City centre back Nathan Wood.
The England U21 international only joined Swansea a year ago from Middlesbrough with former Swans boss Russell Martin a confirmed admirer having tried to sign him for MK Dons.
He went on to make 43 appearances and has become a mainstay of Swansea's defence.
Wood is the son of former Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough left-back Dean Gordon and was a highly talented athlete as a teenager, competing in the high jump and as a young sprinter.
