Palace striker Jordan Ayew netted twice as Ghana beat Ethiopia 2-0 to get their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign back on track.
Playing his first game for the Black Stars in 14 months, the striker marked his return just three minutes into the game in Addis Ababa when he broke through the defence to latch onto a pin-point pass and slot the ball into the bottom corner.
Then midway through the first half, Emmanuel Boateng was brought down inside the box by an Ethiopian defender, allowing Ayew the chance to complete his brace from the penalty spot, which he dispatched to net his 14th international goal on the occasion of his 51st cap.
