Crystal Palace's Andros Townsend has won Goal of the Year at the London Football Awards.
Townsend picked up the accolade for his astonishing volley in the Eagles' 3-2 victory over Premier League champions Manchester City.
The goal was one of several last year which have lingered in the memory from the 27-year-old.
Collecting the award last night in Battersea, Townsend said: "It's a huge honour for me. It was a special occasion for myself, for Crystal Palace. To get a win at the Etihad is no mean feat. It's a goal and a win I'll never forget for the rest of my career.
