Ruben Loftus-Cheek has agreed to join AC Milan for £17.2m from Chelsea, where he spent nearly two decades.
The midfielder, who struggled for consistent game time after returning from an eye-catching 2017 loan spell with Crystal Palace, will join for an initial fee of £13m with £4.2m from add ons.
Loftus-Cheek's form while on-loan at Palace earned the first of ten call-ups to the England team and inclusion in Gareth Southgate’s squad for the 2018 Russia World Cup.
The Rossoneri, who reached the Champions League semi-finals and finished fourth in Serie A, have been pursuing the 27-year-old since May when they were reported to be in concrete talks that were spearheaded by then-technical director Paolo Maldini.
