OMAHA, Neb. – Playing in front of a record setting crowd of 3,670, the Creighton Women's Soccer team posted its first result over a Top-25 non-conference opponent since 1994, batting No. 19 Saint Louis to a scoreless draw in the Bluejays 10 annual Socctoberfest match on Friday, Sept. 6
Following Friday's action Creighton is 2-2-1 on the season, while the Billikens moved to 2-1-3 overall with the draw. Creighton also moved to 6-1-3 in Socctoberfest matches at Morrison Stadium.
Although Saint Louis held possession throughout the early portions of the first 20 minutes and held a 5-1 edge in shots at the break, it was Creighton's backline and junior goalkeeper that battled the consistent Billiken pressure to keep the match scoreless.
