MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Battling a competitive field, the Creighton women's tennis completed the final day of the Gopher Invitational with three wins on Sunday afternoon at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis, Minn.
Junior Annika Elvestrom and freshman Karli Vo highlighted doubles play with a 6-2 victory over Milwaukee's Sara Simonova and Emilia Durska, while Elvestrom and freshman Alem Cote captured the Bluejays lone victories in singles action. Elvestrom defeated North Dakota's Linn Svaerd, 6-2, 6-0, while Cote defeated Marquette's EJ Barcley in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1.
