DES MOINES, Iowa – Sophomore Ana Paula Martinez picked up the Bluejays' lone win as the Creighton women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Drake Invite on Sunday afternoon at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
"We were a little flat at times today with the exception of Ana who played very strong tennis," said head coach Tom Lilly. "Malvika let a couple games slip away against a strong opponent and it was unfortunate that we just didn't have our "A" game on the final day. We will keep getting better and healthier as the fall goes on.
