FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- The Creighton women's tennis team extended its winning streak to seven matches with a 5-2 victory over Colorado State on Saturday afternoon at the CSU Tennis Complex.
The Bluejays are now 12-4 this season.
The host Rams claimed 6-1 wins during the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches to take the doubles points before Creighton claimed victories at all but one singles position.
The Bluejays picked up a victory by default at the No. 6 position to even the overall match, and Ashley Ishimura won in straight-sets, 6-1, 6-3 in the top singles match to give Creighton a 2-1 edge.
