OMAHA, Neb. – Early success in doubles and singles guided the Creighton women's tennis team to a 6-1 victory over Northern Iowa on Saturday at the Hanscom Tennis Center.
The win lifted the Bluejays record to 2-2 on the season, while the Panthers fell to 0-2 overall.
Creighton dominated throughout doubles play, clinching the first point of the afternoon with victories at all three doubles positions.
Malvika Shukla and Bianca Rademacher earned a quick 6-2 victory at the No. 1 doubles slot, while Valerie Negin and Ana Paula Martinez clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win at the No.
