OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton women's tennis team posted four double victories and three single wins during the first day of the Drake Invitational in Des Moines, Iowa on Friday.

The pair of Leanne Kendall and Valerie Negin dropped their first two matches before tallying an 8-6 win in Flight A. Malvika Shukla and Ana Paula Martinez fell in their first match before responding with a pair of 8-5 victories in the Flight B doubles bracket.
