CAYCE, S.C. – The No. 7 seed Creighton women's tennis team started its run in the 2022 BIG EAST Tennis Championship Presented by JEEP with a 4-1 first round victory against 10th seeded Seton Hall on Thursday morning at the Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center.
The Blujeays improved to 12-7 on the year and advance to face second-seeded Marquette on Friday in the quarterfinals, while the Pirates ended their season with a 6-13 record.
"We knew this was going to be a challenging match as Seton Hall is talented and well coached," said head coach Tom Lilly.
