LINCOLN, Neb. – The Creighton women's tennis team had its four-match winning streak snapped with a 7-0 loss to Nebraska at the Dillon Tennis Center on Tuesday night.
The loss dropped the Bluejays to 4-3 on the season, while the Cornhuskers improved to 6-1 with the victory.
Nebraska claimed the hard-fought doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles position. Nebraska claimed a 6-2 victory on the No. 3 doubles court to take an early advantage, but a 6-3 victory on the top doubles court by Malvika Shukla and Valerie Negin leveled things up.
