ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Creighton women's tennis team extended its winning streak to six matches with a 6-1 win against Providence on Wednesday at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.
The Bluejays improved to 10-4 overall and 2-1 against BIG EAST opponents.
Creighton sealed the doubles point with wins at the top two slots. and improved to 10-2 at the No. 1 doubles position with a 6-2 win against the Friars' top doubles pair. and claimed a 6-0 victory at the No. 2 slot.
The Bluejays won in straight-sets at five of the six singles positions to take the overall dual.
