OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton women's tennis team will head to Cayce, South Carolina for the 2019 BIG EAST Championships presented by Jeep as the No. 7 seed. The Bluejays will play 10th-seeded Providence on Thursday at 9 a.m. Central at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center.
Creighton ended the regular season at 8-12, including 2-4 against league opponents. The Bluejays' two wins against BIG EAST foes came against Providence (7-0) in Orlando and Villanova (4-3) in Omaha. The Friars enter the postseason with a 5-17 record (0-6 BIG EAST).
