LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Creighton women's tennis team opened its 2025 spring dual season suffering a 4-0 loss at Kansas on Friday afternoon at the Jayhawk Tennis Center in Lawrence, Kan.
The Bluejays fell to 0-1 on the season with the loss, while the Jayhawks improved to 2-0 following its 7-0 win over Kansas City earlier in the day.
"Credit Kansas, they are a strong team and deserved the win today," said head coach Tom Lilly. "I liked our doubles play and we had an opportunity to take that point but fell just a little short.
