Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton enters the final match of the regular season on the cusp of reaching something that has eluded the Bluejays since 2012, a trip to the conference tournament.
With a win over Butler, Creighton will clinch a spot in the BIG EAST Tournament, held in Rhode Island this season.
The Bluejays have earned their chance to reach postseason with a four-match winning streak.
Butler has already clinched the top spot in the Midwest Division with a 5-1 mark in conference play. The Bulldogs enter Thursday's contest at 8-1 overall. Butler's only loss came at DePaul (1-0) earlier this season on March 21.
