Omaha, Neb. -- Women's soccer head coach Ross Paule officially introduced Lisa-Marie Woods as the Bluejays' assistant coach on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
Originally from Oslo, Norway, Lisa-Marie Woods joined the Creighton Women's Soccer Staff on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
A decorated professional, Woods played at the highest levels of soccer in nine different countries (USA, Australia, Canada, Cypress, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Kazakhstan and Norway) from 2005 until January of 2018.
Woods began playing soccer at four years old, inspired by watching her older brother play. The neighborhood group that she grew up playing with saw herself and three male players go onto a professional career.
