OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Butler in overtime during Creighton's annual Pink Game on Thursday night at Morrison Stadium.
The Bulldogs converted the golden goal during the 92nd minute.
The Bluejays dropped to 1-2-1 in BIG EAST play and 7-5-1 overall, while Butler improved to 2-1-1 in league action and 6-4-2 overall.
Creighton possessed the ball for the majority of the first half and held a 5-2 edge in shots at the break.
Skylar Heinrich fired the Bluejays' first shot during the second minute. The freshman fired the ball towards the left post but it stayed out of the net because of Butler's first save of the match.
