Cincinnati, Ohio -- Despite freshman Skylar Heinrich delivering her team-leading ninth goal of the season, the Creighton women's soccer team dropped it BIG EAST road opener 3-1 at Xavier on Thursday, Oct. 3.
The loss moved the Bluejays to 7-4-0 on the season and 1-1-0 in BIG EAST play, while Xavier climbed to 8-2-2 overall and 1-1-0 in conference action.
Creighton will remain on the road through the weekend, facing Marquette on Sunday in Milwaukee at 1:00 pm (CT).
