PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Creighton women's soccer team ended its season with a 3-2 loss in overtime at Providence on Thursday night.
The Bluejays ended their season with 10 points during league play from a 3-5-1 record and posted a 6-10-1 mark overall.
The Friars concluded their regular-season at 4-3-2 (14 points) in league play and moved to 10-5-3 overall.
Providence's Camille Murphy provided the heroics for the home team as the Friars scored three unanswered goals after Creighton gained a 2-0 lead. Murphy converted the golden goal during the 95th minute.
Creighton grabbed a two-goal lead with scores from its top two goal scorers, Taryn Jakubowski and Kylin Grubb.
