The tie moves the Bluejays to 0-2-2 on the season, while the Wildcats moved to 2-0-2 overall.
Neither squad pushed across a goal in the opening frame, while both teams were held shotless in the opening 15 minutes of play. Creighton's best scoring opportunity in the opening period came in the 26th minute as senior Azumi Manriki blasted a shot from just outside the box towards goal but was denied by the Wildcats goalkeeper.
