OMAHA, Neb. – Former Creighton Women's Soccer defender Gabriela Guillén has been selected as part of the 23 players who will represent Costa Rica in the upcoming 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in New Zealand later this month.
Making her second World Cup trip, Guillén and her Costa Rican squad will open Group C play on July 21 at 2:30 a.m. (CT) against Spain, before battling Japan on July 26 at 12:00 a.m. (CT). Costa Rica will close out group play on July 31 against Zambia at 2:00 a.m. (CT). All three games will be televised and can be seen on FS1.
