Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton women's soccer head coach Ross Paule announced the hiring of Karli Kopietz as Creighton's assistant coach on Monday, July 8.
Kopietz joins the Bluejays after spending the past six seasons as an assistant coach at North Dakota State, the Minnesota native (Champlin, Minn.) also served as a volunteer assistant for Bison in 2012. From 2012-13, she also instructed the goalkeepers for the Tri-City Soccer Club and was the head coach of the club's U17 and U15 girls team. Kopietz holds a United Soccer Coaches (formerly the NSCAA) National Diploma, USSF C-License, and Level three goalkeeping certification from the United Soccer Coaches, as well as a goalkeeping diploma certification.
